Good food and good times were had at the annual Lakeridge spring picnic June 3rd and we couldn’t have ordered a more beautiful day! 

Many hearty thanks are owed to the organizers of the event – Jill Mix and Carey Lewis.  The cotton candy and snow cones were a big hit!  We appreciate Lidy Mix and Lori Bryant for serving up these goodies for all the children who attended.  We also must recognize the McGowan’s for allowing us to use their beautiful lawn each year.

 In addition to some neighborly fun, the purpose of the Spring Picnic is to serve as one of our two annual meetings as required by our By-laws.  During the picnic, the proposed 2006 budget was voted on and passed, new officers were elected, and the association members present unanimously voted to fund the front landscaping design plan.  This appropriates $400 to solicit professional landscape designs from area vendors.

Dues are Due

It’s that time again – your annual Association Dues are due.  To those that have already paid, thank you! 

Lakeridge’s Homeowner’s Association dues are voluntary and are only $40 per year.  For that, you will receive a neighborhood directory, annual events, a neighborhood garage sale and holiday decorations prizes.  We hope to be able to do other improvements, too, such as the front entrance, but that will all depend on how many neighbors contribute.
