We want to thank
all of you that took the time to submit your vote for the membership dues issue. We would like to report that it was an
overwhelming “YES” to increase the annual dues from $20 to $40. In the next few weeks keep an eye out for the
membership invoice that will include an info sheet that will be used for the
next neighborhood directory.
Our dues are only
a few pennys a day and it is vitally inportant that everyone participate. With all that our neighborhood faces in just
basic services we need your support more than ever. Your membership will have advantages that
will include discount coupons, access to an email tree that will provide
instant information to area break-ins, vandalism, lost animals, along with
continue neighborhood updates. With its
enornus costs, we will be phasing out the newsletter and steering towards the
direction of emails and a neighborhood website.
Those who wish to participate in a trial sample of our planed email tree
and website please send your email address to muzzman@chartertn.net , put in the
subject line, “Email Tree”.

Neighborhood News!
In the last few
days homes and cars along Dawn Redwood have been broken into. These random attacks are occuring more
frequently and it drives home the message that we need to put together a Neighborhood
Watch program that requires everyones participation! Let me know if you wish to participate and perhaps
serve as one of the block captains.
I was contacted by a representative from the
Tierra Verda subdivision that provided me with some very disturbing news. A small cat wondered away from its home and
crossed into the Lakeridge subdivision.
This 8-pound kitten came back an
hour later with a bullet wound. It
happed around 2 in the afternoon during a school day. The Sherriff’s Department believes that shot
came from our neighborhood and will arrest this individual. It is illegal to discharge a firearm in or
aound a neighborhood.
Complaints roll in concerning: Dogs left unattented outside that contually
bark, Owners that do not pick-up after their animals, Animals running
loose, Vehicles being repaired on front
lawns, Dismantaled vehicles and boats in public view, a very valid safety issue
are Vehicles parked on the street, and Vehicles speeding in our
neighborhood. Please take the time to
care for your animals, take pride in the appearance of your neighborhood, and
for safety sake park your vehicles in your driveway and slow down.
