My room is about 11x11, no closet (just a "wardrobe"), and a dirty tile floor (they didn't clean it after grouting...).

This is my non-shower.  The hose is about 3 feet long, I guess.  I have bruises on my knees.........

When the sky is clear (not very often), I can see the mountains while I walk from my room to breakfast.  Of course, I also have to walk by the portable toilets & 2 construction sites....  At least they have finished the road, so I don't have to breathe tar anymore. This is a photo taken from my seat in the production truck.  I'm 1 row behind the director....

The flag says "Pace" (pronounced pachay), which is "Peace" in Italian.  I saw it going from the IBC to the Stadium amongst all of the generic balconies.

The cops in the Media Village drive a Subaru Legacy station wagon.........  I should take pics of some of the other cars here - one of them looks more like an arch than the VW Bug.....!

This was right after the torch was lit during the ceremonies - while I was still in the truck.....so it is of the monitor of what was going out on air from the truck.
This is part of the multi-national crew who put the ceremonies on the air.....including the Spanish producer, Italian director & Canadian associate producer - we were celebrating in a local "pub" - only 1 bottle of local red wine consumed amongst all of us at this point.

After the opening ceremony. Graphic people having fun!  TOO much fun!
